The job pipeline groups applications by stage. Cards show the candidate, specialty, match score when available, assigned recruiter, next suggested action, and last update. Moving a card updates the shared application state rather than creating a separate copy.

Open the job pipeline
Open a job and its pipeline. Use candidate search, recruiter filtering, attention-only filtering, Jump to stage, or Compact view to focus the board.

Review the candidate timeline
Open Timeline on the card to review communications, screening, readiness, and submission information before changing stage.

Drag the card to the intended position
Drop the application into an allowed stage and position. Reordering within the same stage is saved as shared pipeline order. The board also supports keyboard dragging for users who do not use a pointer.

Complete preflight requirements
If the stage requires candidate email, phone, resume, completed screening, readiness, or a transition reason, complete the requested information before confirming the move.

Confirm the synchronized result
After a successful move, InferOwl synchronizes the candidate timeline, pipeline reporting, and recruiter work. Review the confirmation notice and refresh if you need to verify server state.
Terminal and restricted stages
A stage can enforce specific next stages, require a reason, or be terminal. InferOwl checks the move before saving it. Do not describe a failed move as complete until the board confirms synchronization.
Troubleshooting
Candidate cards do not move.
Likely cause: Your effective permissions do not include Move candidate stage.
Ask an owner to review your access. You can still open the timeline when your other permissions allow it.
InferOwl asks for more information before moving the candidate.
Likely cause: The destination stage has required fields, readiness checks, transition rules, or a required reason.
Complete the preflight items shown in the prompt, then confirm the move again.
The card returns to its previous stage.
Likely cause: The server rejected the transition or the save failed.
Read the error banner, correct the issue, refresh the board if needed, and retry. The visual move is rolled back when persistence fails.
