A pipeline stage is a named point in a job's recruiting process. It describes the progress of an application and helps the next person understand which work has occurred and what remains to be done.
Stages depend on the workflow
Names and transition rules depend on workspace configuration. A destination may require information, completed review work, or a reason. A terminal stage represents a workflow endpoint and may restrict further movement. Follow the requirement shown for the intended job rather than assuming every pipeline behaves identically.
For example, a screening stage may require an actual screening result before an application advances. A candidate being available for a call does not establish that screening happened. Record the event accurately and resolve any missing prerequisite through its proper workflow.
When a move is blocked
