Recruiter productivity describes completed recruiting output relative to the effort used. For a defined workflow, output per recruiter-hour equals accepted outputs divided by recruiter hours.
Define the output first
Count work that meets agreed acceptance criteria and include review and correction time in the hours. A high activity count can coexist with unfinished or rejected work, so messages, calls, and record views should not automatically be treated as completed outputs.
To compare periods, divide the trial output-per-hour rate by the baseline rate. The baseline rate must be greater than zero. Use comparable definitions and report material changes in team, workload, or workflow that limit interpretation.
Keep other outcomes separate
More output per hour does not by itself establish more placements, increased revenue, lower costs, or a better candidate experience. Those outcomes need their own measurements. Keep the underlying counts and approval records available privately before publishing a result. Use the recruiter-efficiency article for calculation and quality checks, and the baseline definition when preparing a pilot comparison.
